2nd Febuary 2012 - The Government Procurement Service (formally Buying Solutions) have gone out to tender for the supply of Medical Locums / GP's. Government Procurement Service as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a National Pan Government Collaborative framework agreement for use by UK public sector bodies, which include Central Government Departments and their Arm’s Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies, Local authorities, Ministry of Defence and HM Prison Service.The above Public Sector Bodies have a need for temporary and fixed term Locum Doctors (including locum GPs) to provide cover for a wide variety of needs. This is a 4 year, National Framework. The deadline for submitting PQQ's is 1st March 2012.

2nd Febuary 2012 - University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS have gone out to tender for the supplu of Medical Locums / GP's. University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust which covers North Lancashire and South Cumbria with sites at Lancaster, Morecambe, Barrow in Funess and Kendal and Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust which covers the county of Cumbria. This is a 4 year framework agreement. The deadline for submitting PQQ's is 7th March 2012.
